Learn & Master Guitar is absolutely the #1 choice in my opinion. It is extremely thorough and well planned out, and it is a high-effective, step-by-step video instruction, very easy to follow. It is the most complete video instruction course for guitar I have seen ever. And the DVDs are the best we've seen on any program. Consisting of 20 fully produced DVDs, 5 Jam-Along CDs, a 108 page lesson Book, and a wealth of web-based supplemental materials.
Steve's method works really well, and even better, actually teaches you not only how to play guitar (which is relatively easy, I tought myself) but how to master it (which is incredibly difficult).
In my opinion, Learn & Master Guitar is the Best home study guitar course on the market today. Although it's more expensive than other guitar courses, it's well worth the money. You won't find a better guitar course.

Team Method Guitar is a new concept in guitar learning based on the fact that no one person can be expected to be an expert in ALL aspects of guitar playing, and a student learns BETTER, without picking up bad habits, when they learn from more than one person.
It is also a MASSIVE course. There are six books with almost 500 pages of information, 10 DVDs and CDs with video lessons and play along jam tracks, several mini courses covering playing by ear and acoustic guitar, and several software games to speed learning.
You shouldn't confuse Team method Guitar with other guitar sites that offer lessons and tips from different teachers. TMG is definitely a GUITAR COURSE, not just random tips and tricks!

The Beginner's Guide To Unlocking The Guitar addresses all of the main issues you should have been concentrating on from day one. The flaw is that it only contains ebooks and together with the sound files. This course puts beginners on the right path. The flaw is that it only contains ebooks and together with the sound files. All in all, if you haven't much budget now, it is also a good choice. |
